Student Filmmaker Spotlight: Eduardo Mattos

We sat down with Eduardo Mattos, a Berlin Student Film Festival 2017 Genre Finalist.  He shares his journey as a filmmaker and fills us in on the story behind his film "Noturno" and what's next.

Eduardo Mattos is a Brazilian artist and filmmaker who has been living and working in Berlin since 2015. 
In the past decade he has been working as director of photography and contemporary visual artist, producing intensively in several media always maintaining them in dialogue with film language. Eduardo graduated at FAAP - Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (BA Cinema) and in 2016 completed his master's studies in film direction at Met Film School Berlin.
