After working for more than 10 years as an award winning advertising copywriter, Isabel started her Instagram account: @IsabelitaVirtual. Since then she has collaborated with brave brands including &OtherStories, Viktor&Rolf, Dior, Hermès, Delpozo, Coach, Tiffany, Sony… which have used her skills as Creative Director, influencer or image maker to help them create provocative and beautiful statements in a fast-paced and constantly shifting social media landscape. The Cut has named IsabelitaVitual in the 50 Fashion Social Media Voices to Follow. Kevin Systrom, co-founder of Instagram, pointed to her as one of his 3 indispensables fashion accounts.
What characterises the work of Isabelita Virtual is its highly conceptual nature. Isabelita Virtual enhances her imagery with her unique style of visual storytelling. Vogue Italia have even taken IsabelitaVirtual’s world offline and exhibited her work at Carla Sozzani gallery in Milan in 2012, 2015 and 2016. Alongside this, IsabeltiaVirtual is an innovator, using social media platforms to experiment whether it’s running the first Art Auction on Instagram for the launch of Viktor&Rolf Couture Collection, the first live fashion-show on Snapchat or it’s collaborating in a kinetic art installation for Art Basel Miami. Isabel Martinez lives and works between Barcelona and New York.
