Grace Castro joins 2017 BSFF Jury

Grace M. Castro is CEO and Founder of Fashion Inspires More, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding the fashion dialogue through art, technology, and education. Utilizing her expertise in brand development, public relations, marketing, and event production, she has initiated several projects that celebrate and foster the artistic and entrepreneurial spirit of fashion creatives in the community. 

Prior, for two decades, Castro worked with leading South Florida nonprofits dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth and families in low socio-economic communities in addition to working with notable brands and personalities in sports and entertainment.

In 2011, her focus faced to fashion working with emerging designers, producing large scale shopping events, workshops, and fashion community forums. In 2013, Castro founded the annual Miami Fashion Film Festival and is currently developing Miami’s first fashion and technology conference soon to launch.

Aside from her intrinsic love for the art and business of fashion, Castro has a Bachelor’s Degree from Miami International University of Art and Design in Visual Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design.
