Brian Inocencio

 
Brian graduated from Hunter College in New York with a BA in Biology. He worked as a rehabilitation aide in the brain injury unit at North Shore LIJ – Glen Cove Hospital for many years, where he focused on stroke, head trauma, and cancer patients. He decided to pursue his passion in film after speaking to a paralyzed patient’s parents. They told him that their son always dreamed to be a physical therapist, which made Brian realize that life is too short to not go for your dreams. Currently, Brian is pursuing his master’s degree in Social Documentary Film at School of Visual Arts, New York.

After his graduation in 2009, Kai started his career in film production as freelance director, script writer, and cinematographer. 
His works are mostly inspired by family relationships, especially his parents. 
He started his interest in social issues after directed the documentary about social enterprise and worked as a volunteer for ‘Roo Su Flood’, an animation project about Thailand's flood crisis in 2011.
He is currently pursuing his master's degree in Social Documentary Film at School of Visual Arts, New York.
