Jade Xuan Wu is a freelance animator, illustrator. Growing up in China, she graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and currently based in Berlin. Playful, diverse and bizarre characters from daily life are her main inspiration.

‘Pious’ is my graduation film for my degree in MA Character Animation from CSM. The story is based on ‘Forging The Swords’ (Zhu Jian), a Chinese fiction written by Lu Hsun. The animation was done in TV Paint and Adobe Photoshop.
